This sections aims at giving eRural
value chain actors a one Stop Shop to information and
material relevant to the deployment of broadband in
rural areas
A number of issues are identified
and dealt with ranging from technical solution for rural
areas to policy initiatives to reduce the digital divide.
Why will you
be interested in the A-BARD material
- You are a rural group, community,
local authority, currently looking for information
on broadband and more specifically for targeted
information which relates directly to broadband
issues / implementations for rural areas.
- You are engaged in an initiative
and programme relating to broadband, specifically
within the IST Programme or more broadly part
of another RTD project in a relevant Programme,
and are concerned with best practice, benchmarking,
eEurope, eChallenges, and clustering.
- You are a policy maker
involved in the broadband area at all level
may it be local and regional authorities, national
governments or European.
